We normally get planes flying over every few minutes, now they are gone, it is amazing what difference it makes.
Once things get back to normal again, I imagine people living under the really busy flight paths are going to realise even more strongly what a blight air-transport bring to their lives.

I have to agree. Over in Bristol we get the LHR to US flights, as well as local stuff, but now: clear, blue, silent sky. It is what life was like before the planes came.
The other thing is the world has just got bigger. We can't plan on a long-haul holiday in July, as this could still be going on. I may have to cancel a May trip to the US. Now when we travel, it will be closer. Abroad has just got more exotic
